Today was just one of those days. Not TERRIBLE or HORRIBLE but def should've stayed in bed, did laundry, something I guess.
Don and I decide to do a movie double feature and I go out to Stockton (sans bulletproof vest) since he comes to The More all the time.
It's super windy outside :( Cold
So we're hungry by the time I get out there and go straight to eat. Mexican food - carne asada super burrito. Not too bad but all the ingredients were "lined up" in the wrapped tortilla. Like I should've ate it sideways? My meal was all meat and beans, then a blast of sour cream, then rice at the end. :-/ No bueno. Have blended margaritas there which, when sucked through the straw, gave me brain freeze as well as a back ache??? wtf?
Go to see the movie Last House On The Left... disturbing
Go to sushi restaurant next door to movies. Sitting there, we're both VERY disturbed still. Decide maybe saki bombs will take that away!?! No such luck. I couldn't get into them. Wasn't tasting good. Ended up giving one bomb to the gay Filipino sitting next to us at the bar (who, BTW, did not know what XOXOX meant and thought that the filet'o'fish at McD's is "something healthy to eat").
Go see Knowing to further dissipate the disturbing feeling. Now no longer disturbed... now disappointed.
Decide to go to Elephant Bar to eat even tho I munched on gummi bears and most of Don's kids popcorn. Get to EBar... not real hungry. Order a side Citrus Salad. Sounds appealing... if you are TRYING to get inflamed taste buds. The dressing was way to citrus-y which soaked into the apple bits making them bitter citrus-y paired with the mandarin oranges - I probably walked out of there with my mouth looking like an asshole! (Too far?)
So I down 3 pints of water and we leave.
Oh well. At least I got to see my buddy and get a few laughs in but we both agreed staying in bed (SEPARATELY!) may have been better today.
