Saltines... not just for nausea

So I am doing a little better with my diet... not perfect. But I can't have a "life" and eat perfect. So I'm good at work and then SOMETIMES I'm semi bad at night.

Anyway, I'm trying!!

However.... I have an overwhelming addiction to saltines right now.



I know I know not good for the diet. But I just love them! I try sucking on them to make them last longer; not working very well.

And I'm drinking as much water as possible to counteract....


What the hell is wrong with me??

Diet v2.6

Friday 7/18 - through the weekend...

I have been a very very bad girl. It is so much harder to stick to now!!??
Friday night had Uncle Yu's with Vicky & Jason. Didn't eat THAT much but still.
Saturday went to Tim & Mandy's in Auburn for his b-day - was good till we got there. But really only had a salad, chicken, little bit of pasta salad, and small pieces of meat.

But the drinking at these events didn't help.

So there went my 2 lbs. I decided this week I'm going to be STRICT.

Monday 7/21
Don asked me to meet him at Balazo so I had half a chicken burritto... NOT on my diet.
Ate the rest for lunch today (7/22). Tsk Tsk
Then we are having an admin lunch tomorrow at Forbes Steak Mill... maybe I'll still get my CRV there. I guarantee it will be a little tastier and fattening than mine.
But do you see how it's all my friends faults!!! ;)

Ugh... I HAVE to fit in that dress for Chicago's wedding!!!!

Diet v2.5

Friday 7/18

Hmmm I'm going to have to blame this day on our cafeteria here. They ALWAYS have some sort of CRV in there and today they didn't! Well I got the chicken... but no rice or veggies?? I settled on chicken and tomatoes (sans salmonella) and mozz cheese. I know someone losing weight on just tom/mozz so I'm feeling somewhat confident that this is not straying way off track. :-/
Then Liza brought me the other 1/2 of a twix... I heart twix. So I said f' it and ate it.

I'm going to probably guess that tonight out with Vicky I'm not going to be "good" and then Sat night is Tim's bday... so basically I'm screwed.

Do they have will power pills?

Thursday 7/17

I'm sure it's a fluke but I'm going to revel in every bit of it... I stepped on the scale Thurs morning and I lost 2 lbs! Ha

So I celebrated by drinking a vodka cran, 2 onion rings dipped in bbq sauce, 1/2 a free chocolate milkshake, starbucks (to keep me awake for The Dark Knight midnight show), and some popcorn...

I just realized that I'm saving my .75 chocolate like I'm being all "good" but I've had hot chocolate at work and those pistachios last night????

Yes this JUST dawned on me.

Diet v2.3

Wed 7/16

Not doing too bad. Not totally starving. This was so much easier when I was with JCross because we never did ANYTHING never went ANYWHERE so I had plenty of time to make my food and sit at home and eat it. Anyway, I'm not complaining. Would rather be where I am right now!!

So yesterday my splurge was my hot chocolate (no sugar)... until I got home. Jeremy's parents (Red Feather Winery) gave me an AWESOME basket of goodies


to "thank me for all I do for them"... as if! I'm there drinkin up their profits all the time!! But of course I accepted graciously and loved it loved it loved it!! Their Cab and Old Zin (yum!) was in the basket with a lot of fun goodies.

So I had about half a glass of wine... not too bad. But with that slight buzz I could NOT resist the chocolate/toffee covered pistachios (DOUBLE YUM!). I only ate 2 tho! Again, not too bad for me :)

Dammit!

I tried to be so good going to Tues Tunes tonight. I thought "Ok, I'll go, have a COUPLE glasses of wine and then go home and eat my CRV." Not a good idea. I ended up eating 4 slices of Parmesan (?) cheese, 3 choco wafer sticks, 2 pieces of pork butt (so good), 2 chicken drumsticks (from KFC... ohhhh), one brownie bite, and one watermelon slice.

Dammit dammit dammit.
It's ok, tomorrow is still fruit and CRV.
I could've said no... but it was SOOOOO good!!

Dammit.

Oh wait crap, Melissa and I went to the Ale House afterward and split small nachos... dammit. At least we had black beans not refried right? Dammit!!

But Lis... I still have my .75 cent milk chocolate in my purse. Thought I'd eaten it already huh?? ;)

Tuesday 7/15
It's 7:50am and so far I'm doing ok on my diet... LOL!

I canNOT give up my coffee. I figure the last time I did this diet I didn't stop drinking coffee - and that's when I was having Grande, non fat, chai tea lattes. Which are only 200 calories, 0 fat... BUT 44 CARBS!!! Holy moly. So if I'm having ONE styrofoam coffee cup with a bit of non-fat creamer... I'm probably doing a hell of a lot better.

Last time I dropped 5 lbs the first week... I'm not expecting that but 1 or 2 would be lovely. I need the encouragement.

Now it's 1:21pm and I know I'm PMSing... I'm craving chocolate bad!! But I'm in a good mood so who really knows.

So to appease my yearning I am having some hot chocolate - BUT it's the no sugar added kind. So no fat but sodium 180 mg and carbs 10g. Not too bad of a cheat. But I can do better! :(

I'm going to try real hard to go down to Tues Tunes and NOT eat Jeremy's moms yummy food... just drink some wine ;)

Fatty Fatty 2 by 4...

Monday 7/14
Ok so I just weighed myself at 7:10pm - which I know is a bad time to weigh but it will just be that much more exciting when I drop weight after a week of CRV and then having my "visitor" ;P

Went to the store and got CRV and fruit. Thats my diet. Fruit in the morning. CRV for lunch and dinner... *sigh*
No salt, no dairy, no sugar.... no fun.

BUT say goodbye to 175.

Here we go again... (not Whitesnake)

Back to the Chicken, Rice & Veggie diet. Besides seeing HORRIBLE pictures of me at 4th of July, I just got my bridesmaid dress for Chicago's wedding and it's one size too small... LOL. Although I shouldn't be laughing. I almost cried seeing those pics!

I wouldn't say I worked "hard" to get down to 145 lbs. :


...but I was disciplined as a mother. And I can do it again. I'm just praying it works again. Can't see why it wouldn't...

So anyway I'll be posting my progress. Check back to this section weekly for updates! :)
