Weddings - death to some, life for others

Karyn and I saw 27 Dresses. Besides feeling UTTERLY ill from eating 5 cookies with milk & sour patch gummy worms, I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. Mostly because I thought it was going to be all mushy and lovey dovey. And with my "biological" and "marri-logical" clock ticking I wasn't sure if I'd be in the mood for this.

Katherine Hegel is good, lead guy is cute (K, did you ever figure out what else he was in?), blah blah blah. But the thing I really liked is that the story line was a little bit of all the wedding movies out there. A little bit "My Best Friends Wedding", a little "Wedding Planner", a little "In Her Shoes" but mostly it was just nice to just see that:

1. she doesn't end up with the perfect guy (we're all in that someway or another)
2. the girl doesn't end up together with the guy she was originally in love with
3. the girl is psycho... and thats ok! and she found a guy to love her

Awww it gives you hope doesn't it.

So LUUUUUUUCKILY the movie didn't feed my marriage/baby obsession. So Dave avoided the "talk" for atleast one night ;)

James Marsden was in Enchanted which is where I remembered him from recently. He was also in Hairspray and Xmen. The other thing he was in was the Notebook, he was the dude Allie didn't marry.
