Now that I'm back at work I can catch up on my blogging! lol
He's Just Not That Into You
This was probably the first movie since Clue (one of my very favorites) that was an all star cast, funny and entertaining movie.
I loved how all the characters had different personalities but it wasn't hard to follow and somehow they all inter-linked. Heard it wasn't like the book at all but that is perfectly fine by me since I want to read it.
Without revealing anything... parts of the movie make you think - like why Jennifer Connelly was mad about one thing and not another... or why Ben Affleck pulled a TOTAL 360... but all in all isn't that who/how real people are anyway? Complicated, weird, quirky, psycho...
Push
Well isn't Dakota Fanning shaping up to be a bloody great little actress??!! Who knew that little "I Am Sam" girl was going to grow up and wear a up-to-there skirt and knee high boots??
Either way I totally enjoyed this movie. I thought for sure it was going to be like Jumper which I liked but didn't love. I really liked the "special talents" all these characters had. It was just ... different, I guess.
And Chris Evans.... HOT yum!! I could've stared at him for another 2 hours for sure.
Taken
This definitely took me by surprise. I really thought it was going to be a typical girl-gets-stolen-in-a-foreign-country-daddy-saves-her movie but it was way more intense and gave you that vindication at the end.
I'm not a "movie clapper" and I really hate when people clap at the end of movies, but this was definitely one you wanted to stand up and be like "Yeah bitches!" at the end... maybe that's just me... maybe it was the sake bombs right before the move... either way, I liked it!
The only sad thing is that this crap really happens...
A long overdue, highly anticipated and much deserved movie weekend. But STILL won't pay $11 to the theaters! HA! Stickin' it to the man

Brian said this reminded him of a Steven Siegal (sp?) movie. He was also seeing this with certain friends so who knows.
