Jumper & Be Kind Rewind

Saw "Jumper" and "Be Kind Rewind" on Sunday... but only paid for one. ;) Ahhh the good ol' days!

Jumper - ehhh... pretty good. Like a Matrix for the 21st century. Or for the Z Generation. (Damn them and their cute clothes while I was wearing geometric shapes, neon colors, and Units clothing when I was their age!!!!!.... I digress)
Anyway, liked Rachel Bilson in Jumper. And as for Hayden whatever his name is from the Star Wars prequels, he wasn't bad either. Nice to see him in another role. However, in one part of the movie, there is a "lair" in the desert and I SWEAR they just took the set from Hayden's Star Wars home and did a quick shot. Anyway, matinee worthy.

Be Kind Rewind - why did we listen to that dork in Cold Stone saying this movie was better than Jumper? Ugh... started off ok. Jack Black is always a kinda hit or miss for me. Mos Def was good. Watching them re-create movies was fun. But then it has to go all "Save the store!!!" on you and its no fun. Its a friggin' movie people. I watched a movie about people teleporting... I think we could've gone with the Be Kind boys getting a movie deal in Hollywood and moving outta the ghetto or SOMETHING. Whatev...

2 movies for $6.50... can't be too critical.
